On Saturday Kristina and I took a part in a tour to Giant’s Causeway. On the way we saw other interesting places.

The first stop was Carrickfergus which is a small city with a famous castle. Side note: The most famous inhabitant of the castle William of Orange is the reason why carrots are Orange. Don’t believe me? See for yourself: https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=why+are+carrots+orange&oq=why+are&aqs=chrome.4.69i57j0l5.15680j0j7&client=ubuntu&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

Afterwards we drove past Castle Black from Game of Thrones. Sadly it was very far away, which is why I wasn’t able to take good pictures. Soon after we arrived at the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge. The whether was wonderful and because of it the views were breathtaking. We didn’t go on the bridge. It would have cost us 8 quit and we didn’t want to spent that money on a few seconds.

Next stop: Giant’s Causeway! We spent two wonderful hours exploring the strange stones and environment. I don’t think I had this much sun in the whole time I’ve been here so far.

Finally we made a quick stop at another castle and then drove back to Belfast.
