This time I unfortunately do not have many exciting things to tell. Tim and I have been working on Amazon Web Services for most of the time and have written and modified many scripts so that everything runs automatically and as smoothly as possible.
On Thursday we had another meeting with Intern Europe. But that was not really exciting. It was just about paperwork, so that we could get a Europass at the end of the internship. The highlight was the extended weekend. On Monday was a so-called “bank holiday”, in which most employees get a day off (but not all, there are hardly days when, for example, Supermarkets are completely closed).
On Saturday I met with some colleagues to play AgentX. AgentX is a mobile game, but in contrast to most mobile games you have to move a lot. After you have met in one place and all have joined, a player is determined to be AgentX. AgentX must then try to hide from the other players during the game until a timer has elapsed. The trick is that every 2 minutes his location is sent to all players (that’s why you need the mobile app). The game is even funnier with the skills you can use in the game. My favourite was the ability to echo a cry on the other players’ phones (unfortunately only once per game). The game is also great to play as a tourist. We met in front of the town hall and, through the game, explored much of the city centre and got to know some new places. After that we cooked something together.
On Sunday we were again at the St. Georges Market, where I had a super delicious cake. This time it was particularly interesting, as there was real Irish live music. After that we had a barbecue and played different games and generally entertained us well.
Accordingly, I was relatively sleepy Monday and spent my free day very relaxed. At noon I was shopping with Giuliano and cooked. The rest of the day I spent just browsing the internet.
Next weekend there will be no more days when Kristina visits me again. I’m so excited! 💕
